Power your academic projects, theses, and research with real-time and historical news data. Apply for free access today — no credit card required.
The Student Access Program is designed for currently enrolled students working on academic projects, assignments, or research.
You must be actively enrolled at an accredited university, college, or educational institution at the time of your application.
Your institution must be a recognized and accredited university, college, technical institute, or secondary school.
Access must be used exclusively for academic projects, assignments, theses, dissertations, or non-commercial academic research.
A valid institutional email address (.edu or country-specific equivalent, e.g. .ac.uk) is required to apply. Applications submitted from personal email addresses will not be accepted.
Your student access period begins on the day your application is approved. Make the most of your access window for your project.
You receive 250 API requests per day — sufficient for data collection, research analysis, and building academic prototypes.
The Student Access Program comes with specific usage guidelines designed for academic and educational purposes. Please read them carefully before applying.
Access is granted exclusively for academic projects, assignments, research papers, and dissertations. Teaching and classroom use is also permitted.
You may not use student access credentials to build, operate, or monetise commercial products or services. A paid plan is required for commercial use.
If you publish research, reports, or papers using AllNewsAPI data, you must credit AllNewsAPI as the data source.
Your student API key is personal and must not be shared with others. Each student must submit their own individual application.
Student access may be renewed a maximum of 2 times (3 periods total, i.e. up to 90 days). Renewal requires a new application with updated proof of continued enrollment.
We reserve the sole right to immediately disable student access if we detect abuse, misuse, commercial activity, or if we have reason to believe falsified information was provided during the application.
The application process is currently suspended. We are not accepting new applications at this time. Please check back later for updates on when the program will reopen.
